Monirah Abdullah Al-Marri

Fathima Amira Arshad

This song feels right to the heart, empowering and speaks to women regardless of what they might think about themselves. I chose it because it also brings back good memories from my middle school years with friends 🦸♀️

Marina Pavlova

This song matters to me because it captures how I understand life: the most important forces aren’t always logical, but they’re still true. I value clarity and honesty, yet I’m deeply shaped by attachment and the way people and moments transform us. It reminds me that real change rarely comes through grand events; it often happens quietly, in small human signals — a glance, a hint of a smile, the way someone reaches for you and suddenly shifts your world. I try to carry that mindset into both my work and personal life, choosing empathy, patience, and care on purpose, because I genuinely believe love will win in the end

Kate Poberezhnik

It’s not so much about meaning as about how it makes me feel. The rhythm — both measured and expressive — reflects my energy at times. If you look at the lyrics more closely, there’s also this tension: the main character wants to leave the relationship but stays because it feels comfortable. I relate to that constant searching and back-and-forth. For me, though, there’s nothing negative in it — I find balance in the movement. It energizes me more than it exhausts me

Elvina Yurova

It reflects a quiet confidence and depth — the sense that there’s always more beneath the surface. Powerful and introspective, it reminds me that growth often comes through change and resilience

Nataliia Zalesskaia

Zahra Azouz

There's a lot I could say about this track. It reflects something in me, weather it's a memory from the past, something I relate to, or even different beliefs I carry through life. It's one of those songs I get attached to because of the harmony, or simply because it resonates with a certain phase I'm going through

The core idea of the song is quite serious — it’s about surviving on the streets of New York, about desperation. But if you can survive there, you can survive anywhere. Even though it speaks about New York, its overall message — especially the chorus — inspires me to change, to get through hard times, and not to lose heart

Kseniia Lukoshkina

I relate to the quiet, thoughtful energy of this song. It feels calm but emotionally deep. I see myself as reflective and self-aware, and this track captures that side of me. It shows strength without being loud, which feels very true to who I am

Maria Polyakova

For me, this track is about trust — building bridges, forming warm human connections, and the idea that we can make it if we try. It also reminds me of our 1:1s 🙂 The sax part is just perfect

Natalia Shefova

Evgeniia Basova

I chose this song because it reminds me of the journey we’ve been on for the past 16 years, setting the pace in races across Europe and winning championships across three generations. I have four huskies, and we compete together in sled dog racing. We’re multiple-time world and European champions, and I also hold the title of Candidate for Master of Sport in Russia. In the racing community, many people know my dogs. It all started with my first dog, with whom I won my first championships. I kept one of his puppies, then two more later on. Now I’m winning races with his descendants. For me, this song is about remembering past victories, especially with the dogs who are no longer with us or no longer racing. At the same time, it’s about continuation — about a legacy that lives on and grows stronger with each new generation.

Maribelle Haddad

It is an alternative Arabic song by a Syrian male artist, that describes a woman as a creature who is strong enough to face everything, yet tender enough to give all the love in the world. It is a symbolic and emotionally rich piece that speaks to deeper themes of support, struggle, identity, and resistance that women go through. My friend once shared it with me on my birthday, saying it reminded her of me. Generally, for us women in the Arab world, revolution is not seasonal, but rather an everyday act of resistance; from how we choose to look, speak, and dress, to what we choose to study, work in, and achieve. Every free choice we make is an act of revolution. I have an entire feminist playlist, so thank you for this lovely initiative, and happy Women’s Day ❤️

Maria Petropoulou

I’ve always loved this song, and now my daughter loves it too — which makes it even more meaningful!

Anna Fedeneva

I was at a Coldplay concert in Seoul with friends, and moments like that make it feel like anything is possible. This song became an anchor for me

Anna Poliakova

There’s no big story behind this choice. It was simply the first song that came to mind when I was asked to pick one that represents me. Beyond being a reliable corporate girlie, I also love keeping a shadowy, dreamy vibe in life — and this song captures that perfectly

Irina Bogdanova

Svetlana Fedianina

Yana Levchenko

To me, this music represents a quiet strength — grounded but never aggressive. It feels like standing on a high hill, where the noise of the world fades into an open horizon. There’s a steady, personal rhythm to it that doesn’t fear the fall, but finds peace in the weightlessness and the space ahead

Viktoria Likhatskaya

I love this song because it’s a timeless jazz classic. Ella Fitzgerald’s voice and phrasing make it feel effortless and sophisticated. It beautifully captures the elegance and depth of jazz and never feels outdated

Anna Riavina

It was hard to choose as every woman is so many things. But right now I’m in love with Olivia Dean (and we’re going to her concert in May with Ira!). I feel like her music gives me space to just flow

Ghiwa Hamdan

To me, it reflects balance, self-awareness, and growth, along with my belief in exploring, meeting new people, and not being defined by one place

Aruzhan Sailau

I feel like I’m living a good life — traveling and meeting new people. Even the wealthiest women in the past didn’t always have this freedom. As a woman, I deeply value the ability to move through the world independently. Especially on Women’s Day, it reminds me how much progress has been made and how fortunate I am to live in this time

Nastya Zubkova

I love the song’s sarcastic tone and I also feel like it fits the spirit of the celebration perfectly!

Namdzhil Khartskhaeva

Elvira Baibikova

I choseе this song because it captures a calm, deep love without drama. It reflects a sense of harmony — that inner “paradise” you feel when you’re with the right person. I connect with its sensuality, maturity, and quiet confidence, without unnecessary words. It mirrors my current state of mind

Aya Mohamed

I’ve always loved this song, but it hits differently now. It reflects this phase of my life, as I’m trying new things beyond my comfort zone — both professionally and personally

Ekaterina Filinkova

I believe that in many cases the barriers that stop us from progressing in our careers or taking on new roles exist only in our heads. It’s important to remind ourselves that with the right motivation and a clear action plan, we can achieve new heights — and that we shouldn’t just sit and wait for opportunities to appear. I also believe in psychological studies showing that when people are told they are capable, or believe it themselves, they achieve better results than those who doubt their abilities

Daria Shaburova

Irina Reus

I chose this song because I love this band — and because I’m happy!

Arina Petrenko

Anastasia Yurashko

To me, it beautifully captures the nature of being. I’ve struggled with anxiety for most of my life, and the words echo the thoughts in my head. At the same time, the song feels uplifting and brave. “Letting it happen” means accepting your natural limits and finding balance, rather than fighting yourself

It’s about stepping up, pushing your limits, and choosing growth even when it’s uncomfortable. It reminds me that believing in your potential matters, and that most limits exist only in our minds

Anna Klimacheva

The title speaks for itself — I see myself as someone gentle. I love the rhythm of this song; it feels close to the tempo of my life, and the chorus resonates with me. It’s also known from 500 Days of Summer, and sometimes I relate to the main character. I even love playing it on the drums

Maria Semakova

It’s a great song that reminds me of the good old days. And there’s a cool cat on the album cover
